The full program includes impressive demo sessions of the SHARP model

Apple has announced the full program of nearly 60 works it will showcase at this year's International Conference on Representational Learning.

One of Apple’s technical demos will feature the impressive SHARP model, previously covered by 9to5Mac. This model can photorealistically reconstruct 3D scenes from a single image in under a second. Apple will perform this demo on an iPad Pro with the M5 chip.

Mescheder and colleagues @ Apple have published a truly impressive paper (congratulations! 🎉🥳). You give it an image, and it produces a really great 3D Gaussian representation. It uses depth pro. Really very good.… pic.twitter.com/XSZCZA8iio

Apple’s technical demos will take place at the Apple Booth (#204) during exhibition hours, and there will also be a showcase of "on-device LLM inference on a MacBook Pro with M5 Max."

MLX is an open-source framework specifically built for AI inference on Apple silicon, and the technical demo will run "a quantized boundary coding model completely natively in Xcode's local development environment."
