YouTube Music's split-view Now Playing redesign, which has been in the works since last year, is now being widely rolled out.
At the top, you will notice that the "Song" and "Video" toggles now use icons and the cover image is slightly larger than before.
Old

The button carousel and the layout of the main controls have not changed, but the progress bar has transitioned from a thin line to a thicker container. The line thickens when you touch and slide it.
Meanwhile, YTM has removed the "Lyrics" and "Related" sections. The bottom of Now Playing now shows your "Next" list. You can swipe up anywhere in the player (including the top part).
New

This redesign offers a new dual-pane layout that allows you to see the cover image, controls, and upcoming tracks. Swipe up again to return to the previous full-screen design.
You will find the lyrics immediately after the up/down capsule, and you can access the related section by tapping on the song title and the right-facing arrow icon.
The split-view Now Playing redesign is now being widely rolled out for YouTube Music on Android (version 9.14) and iOS (version 9.15). This is a server-side update, and closing the queue and force-stopping the app triggers the new look.
